I’ve just received a bunch of images from Brennan Rimer of Journeys Unforgettable to get me excited in anticipation of the “Big Five Safari” through South Africa commencing on the 22nd of July.
This is going to be an amazing and wonderful experience – a fully guided, private, experiential photographic adventure with a small group of people and led by Dana Allen and myself.
Accommodation is provided by way of luxury safari camps – including ‘Mashatu Main Camp‘ and ‘Pafuri Camp‘ – while we track down the “Big Five”, followed by boutique hotel accommodation in Cape Town at the ‘Kensington Place Hotel‘ and then the ‘Grootbos in Hermanus‘.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better… The itinerary also includes two shark excursions (Great Whites no less!) with Apex/Chris Fallows and two whale excursions with Dyer Island Conservation.
Days will be spent exploring and photographing the varied wildlife of the regions we visit, with the evenings spent in discussion over a fine wine or two!
